Kyle Knapp
Founder & CEO, Viterium LLC
Kyle C. Knapp is the founder and CEO of Viterium LLC, an IT Managed Services Provider in Saxonburg, PA. He is responsible for all functions of the company and works with organizations and individuals in the Greater Pittsburgh area to keep their information systems running efficiently and securely. Kyle has earned the Advanced Security Practitioner certification from CompTIA, the highest cybersecurity credential offered by that organization. He is also a Certified Associate in Health and Information Management Systems.
Mr. Knapp also serves the community through his activities as President of the Board of Directors for the Saxonburg Area Business Association, Governance Committee Chair on the Board of Life’sWork of Western PA, and Board member of Downtown Kittanning Inc.
Kyle grew up in Saxonburg and attended Shady Side Academy before matriculating at the United States Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science. During his transition back to civilian life, he studied for and was awarded an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Prior to forming Viterium, he served for 10 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy before working as IT Manager, HR Manager, Production Manager, and finally General Manager over the course of 16 years at Du-Co Ceramics Company.
He resides in Saxonburg with his wife, Anna, and has three daughters and a granddaughter. (Along with a dog, 2 cats, and a rabbit, named Poppy, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Fennel.)
