It's important to know that not every restaurant is open every day on Main Street (no matter what Google says – cuz life happens and these are families running these businesses); hours can vary and change wildly. So before you decide to go grab a bite, please make sure you do your research and verify that the restaurant you're interested in is, in fact, open. This series will focus on places close to ConnectWork on Main.

In most cases, the locations you'll find in this series will be within walking distance of the coworking space, which is located inside the HollyPointe Building on the second floor. The building is on Main Street in downtown Butler in Western Pennsylvania.

Where to Eat Breakfast on Monday

Our suggestion is to head to Cannella Cafe on any given Monday from 8am-2pm. You can check out their menu here. They offer breakfast and lunch options from open to close. So you feel like a sandwich first thing, it’s yours. Rather have eggs for lunch? No problem! Cannella in Butler has a great eat in space and lots of table options for you to meet a friend or two or three. Did we mention the latte flights? Those are definitely a must to check out.

Where to Eat Breakfast on Tuesday

Today we are stopping in at Vintage Coffeehouse located right across the street from ConnectWork on Main.Vintage Coffeehouse provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere accompanied by great coffee. Locally roasted organic beans, a variety of seating options, and a menu featuring espresso, coffee, teas, chai, and matcha, as well as food from local bakeries and cafes. We hear they have some gluten-free options too!

Where to Eat Breakfast on Wednesday

Get your midweek Jersey-style bagel fix at Downtown Bagel House Butler. Located near the Penn Theatre, it offers a fantastic handheld breakfast option. Usually open from 7am-11am, be sure to check the open status on their Facebook Page. The Bagel House is family-owned and operated by a fantastic couple and their extended family. You can eat in or take it to go. We like to walk down from the cowork and walk back for a nice start to the day.

Where to Eat Breakfast on Thursday

Dude it's Thursday. That means we probably overslept and are running late. Cannella offers online ordering and pickup or you can just wait for lunch. If you happen to be coming down 68 heading into Main St, you can stop at Pennie’s Bake Shop before you get started for the day. Occasionally we have fresh baked goodies at the cowork calling your name. We definitely have emergency snacks available if you find your stomach growling in your morning meetings. Alternatively, you can stop in at Dunkin Donuts, in the morning, noon, or night!

Where to Eat Breakfast on Friday

Happy Friyay! We are heading into Cummings Candy & Coffee on Main St. today! The Oldest Family Run Business in Butler, PA. Founded in 1905, Cummings Candy and Coffee has been around for over 110 years of continuous family operation. Their 4 Locations offer a full-service coffee and tea bar, freshly baked pastries, and smoothies made with fresh fruit.  They also hand-dip chocolates with store-roasted nuts and fruits and offer seasonal candies, like peanut brittle and holiday candies.
